Red tape, poor leadership, lack of investment in environment & safety
Pros
The industry competitive salary provided for some positions.
Cons
Subject matter experts are not trusted. All decisions must be made by top level management which causes significant delays and difficulty implementing change. In other terms, this company is heavy on micromanagement. Turnover is high. Information is lost or unable to be found due to poor information management systems. Leadership is promoted from within often, but no leadership training is provided. Safety is touted as a number one priority, but safety is often bypassed due to expense. The work environment is poor. Each work area has consistent issues of: Leaking roofs Mold Lack of maintenance/ updates. Many areas/ offices look like an apocalypse drama could be filmed there. Restrooms are antiquated and have stained toilet seats that haven’t been replaced since likely before the 70’s and are not handicap accessible for disabled employees.
