Pros

I can listen to music all day

Cons

I truly hate this company. They do not DO NOT I repeat care for their employees. Turnover is huge. You come in on average 930 am then you always leave at 630/7 pm. Your entire day is gone. You only get two days off in a row once a month. The benefits are crap. Everyone that works here either receives welfare to make up for what this job doesn't provide or lives off of their spouses benefits. If you do opt in their high insurance and have dependents you have to prove the children are yours with DNA test, court judge signed documents, or birth certificate. Nothing about this company is great. You hire people, market, have a lot of responsibility. It's not worth it. Speedy Cash has more incentives. We can't even borrow against our check. They grill the employees more than the customers. You only start at 12 store manager an average of $3000 a month. Even with the hours I work I have never broke $1000 before taxes. We deal with a lot of money, but we all have food stamps and welfare. Screw Advance America.

Pros

I was able to make my own schedule kind of

Cons

This company does not care about their employees whatsoever the upper management is clueless they have no knowledge of what working in a store is like. They do nothing to help grow their stores, refuse to invest in any kind of advertising but they set unreasonable and unachievable goals. There is a high turnover of not only the staff in the stores but in upper management as well. During my 6 year tenure I went thru 4 DDOS and 4 RDOS. They say that there's a no retaliation policy but this isn't true at all as I has complained about a superior advising for me to break the law to improve my numbers. When it was made known I had complained, apart from nothing being done I made an enemy of him and he did everything he could to get rid of me and he finally did.

Horrible hours for families

Pros

Somewhat flexible schedule, coworkers can make the day go faster

Cons

Too much needless paperwork and responsibilities for the pay. The underwriting system approves people with limited income for loans, and then you are to blame for not making your required numbers. Pushy on endless collection calls, marketing, sales, etc. CPA/Accounting type duties, very far from the pay.
