Pros

This job was amazing when it came to working with the customer if you have a knack for that sort of thing. Yeah you'll have people who intentionally are out to hurt your overheard, but it makes the day great knowing you've helped someone.

Cons

Last year I took it upon myself to help to prepare donations for the victims of the Moore tornadoes. I posted a message on Facebook to my private friends and family to ask them to being don't ions to the store. A day after getting clothes, blankets, diapers, food, you name it, my boss tells me to stop taking donations and to remove my Facebook post about the drive. They then took it upon themselves to in turn asked for donations to be loaded to a prepaid Visa card directly from company employees to then have those finds distributed to those affected by the storms. This and many other atrocities clearly show how a company is more concerned with personal image than actually helping the community around them.

Pros

There are opportunities to gain essential job skills that are transferable to many career paths. Managers are tasked with many duties - self-motivation is a necessity to succeed.

Cons

Collections is a necessary part of any money lending service - but it can become depressing and frustrating trying to get customers to pay back their loans on time. The hours for a center manager can be very demanding. As a center manager I worked 6 days a week for a year and 1/2.

Pros

Hours are awesome. No Sundays. 9-2 on Saturdays. Buisness casual as long as you look neat and are wearing a company shirt. There are opportunities for growth. Close the store during hour long lunch break if your working by yourself.

Cons

They are a large organization and as any that size it's hard to properly train but do pretty well for the most part. It can get a little micro managed such as they want you to email before you go to the bathroom or clock out to go to lunch and overly detailed with marketing activities which makes it feel like such a chore instead of fun.
