Pros

There are opportunities to gain essential job skills that are transferable to many career paths. Managers are tasked with many duties - self-motivation is a necessity to succeed.

Cons

Collections is a necessary part of any money lending service - but it can become depressing and frustrating trying to get customers to pay back their loans on time. The hours for a center manager can be very demanding. As a center manager I worked 6 days a week for a year and 1/2.

I enjoyed the freedom to do my job without being micromanaged at the director level.

Cons

Pay could be better for the level of responsibility that is given.
