Pros

I worked with some wonderful people at Advance America's home office in the HR department and across the company. They care a lot about developing their employees to grow their skill set and knowledge. The location is very nice as well.

Cons

This company truly does have its challenges. There is very high turnover in the HR department. I was treated terribly after I put in my notice. There are some bullies in the department and favoritism is shown. Advance America could have had a much better work environment and culture if the drama was cut out - individuals at all levels were unfortunately involved.

Pros

Usually no upper management present daily. Also can get out of the office for marketing and bank runs.

Cons

Pay sucks, rules change daily and high turnover rate so be prepared to be overworked due to short staff. Collections is a big part of job. Which you have to call family, friends and jobs of anyone who owes. It gets hard to see the same people trapped in the payday cycle and try to get out. But you are told to keep them in the cycle to keep revenue flowing. Just shady!!!

Pros

The company offers somewhat decent benefits agter 180 days, an okay vacation package

Cons

The pay is low for the amount of work, moving up in the company is based on who likes you, working every Saturday is mandatory, rules change daily and most are at manager say so.. that goes back to the who likes who and what is accepted or not. No overtime. Adjust work lunch breaks if your forced over.
