Poorly managed company with little support for front line team

Pros

Co-workers at store level, depending on location, are team-oriented

Cons

Upper management are aloof and non-supportive. Online ordering system creates errors with no reliable resolution model. Stores poorly supplied. Poor compensation and review program. No practical incentive to advance.

Pros

Working a field that is surving the economic crunch.

Cons

Used to be a great company to work for, but like many retailers they are squeezing every dime for profit and have making bonuses and merit increases too tough. Plus you throw in several new restrictions and micro-management and team morale is at a all time low.
