Pros

As I understand it, it depends on your manager but mine is mostly great! Great people. Great customer service. Great time at work usually.

Cons

If you are looking for a manager training program and Advance doesn't have it. Their pay is a dadgum joke. And if you are sharp they seem to want to make you a key carrier closing the store every night with only one other person, even on Friday and Saturday nights and just forget that you could do so much more. And as with any retail they set lofty sales goals (which mean jack) and then no matter how well you do, it is never enough!!! Management seems to only want to hire so many part timers that it is impossible to get really decent hours.

If you have an interest in automotive tech, this would be a great place to work. The environment is safe, and you can learn a lot.

Cons

The job could be much better with better management and a better team. The wrong people working at the wrong times can destroy the store's performance. The pay could be better.
