poor pay, horribly unfair bonus policy, NO communication, outdated computer systems can make for a PITA at times, they hire anyone (without properly quizzing them on mechanical stuff to make sure they can actually do the job properly). no comission or SPIFFs on special order parts (such as unusual parts or accessories ) scheduling sucks under normal conditions (unless you have a good mgr (or asst mgr) that will make the schedule somewhat consistent

If you're a driver, the chance of being promoted is slim. Most of the managers were hired from outside the company, and the ones that were, were not very knowledgeable. I worked with five different stores within a 30 mile range, and out of the five stores, one of the managers knew a lot about cars. The others knew less than the sales associates. In one of the stores, which was my home store, I ended up doing the manager's work for him. I left that store to take another job, but I wanted to stay on as a part-time worker. I moved out of the area after I found out I was pregnant, and transferred to a store I had worked for before. I was let go after they found out I was pregnant.
