      No worse than the other guys.

      Pros

      There is opportunity to move up, and they actually appear to be expanding whilst other companies are cutting back. However, the expansion has created the need to fill positions, and while they grill you at interviews (after you spend weeks trying to get one) they all seem to be disorganized and mildly incompetent. No one seems to know what is going on, or who is accountable for what.

      Cons

      They expect you to be available 24/7 with little to no notice, but they would never grant you any kind of leeway or favors on short or even substantial notice. You are expected to give yourself completely to a company that treats you like any other employee, regardless of your performance or commitment.

      Pros

      If you own an older car and constantly working on it the 20% employee discount helps a lot. The pay is decent and the people I worked with were very easy to get along with. I started at $7 an hour and being a part time team member to being moved up to $9.50 and promoted to 2nd Assistant Manager. I'm sure if I would of stayed longer I could of kept moving up. I would recommend this job to anyone in high school or just graduating. If you stay there you are sure to move up quickly and if you enjoy cars you will learn lots.

      The people that came in were rude and sometimes the hours were long.

      Pros

      Confidence in knowing my job. Management has always done a great job of giving me the time I request to be with my family. Building relationships with people in the community and knowing they depend on my for their automotive needs.

      Cons

      Management says I have topped off on the pay scale for all positions except being store manager. They don't try to promote or train me for this position and as a result I havent' gotten a raise in two years. I can't keep up with inflation and now have to start looking for a 2nd job.
