      Fantastic Company Who Cares

      Pros

      President and CEO is very approachable and involved. He, and everyone with whom I worked, truly care about the people. They do everything they can to ensure they keep their people when a contract ends. They may not always succeed in keeping everyone, but that is the nature of the business. They even keep people on overhead when there is a contract gap (6 weeks for me and another employee).

      Cons

      I didn't really have any downsides. I would go back to work for them anytime!

      Micro managing, in the weeds, not letting employees do their job. Won't fire those useless over paid lazy people.

      Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear your experience wasn’t positive at AMSG. Just so that you are aware, as of October 2021, AMSG promoted its COO to be the new CEO. Soon after this transition the new CEO implemented several initiatives to connect more deeply with AMSG’s team members. For example, in January 2022, AMSG formed the Employee Engagement Team (EET.) The EET’s Charter is to facilitate an environment where AMSG’s team members feel motivated as they support our customers’ missions. Also, the CEO has taken a personal interest in the activities and feedback of our employees with a weekly text message program, and recently has doubled the text messages. Our new CEO also implemented one on one check ins with each of the AMSG Account Managers and Program Managers. AMSG’s core values are integrity, leadership, and seeking employees who want to be part of something bigger than themselves.

      AMSG leadership is beyond reproach. Integrity, coupled with a strong sense of devotion to their fellow employees, is unequaled by any employer I have ever worked with. We get to work with gracious, compassionate, and generous employees who work very hard, hand-in-hand, for a common goal—a strong sense of compassion for the community and an even stronger passion to support the customers we support.
