Pros

I've worked remote at Advantage almost 2 years now. I began as a contract employee in Space Planning, then got hired on full time as a Schematic Analyst, and now I'm a Manager of Assortment Analytics. Advantage has several employee resource groups that have active engagement and are a great resource for employees to help navigate life, career, mentorships, etc. The company is very focused on DE&I as well. I also love working remote!

Cons

pay scale is a bit lower than industry average, insurance carrier rates are high, especially for medical (so I bought through the marketplace)

Pros

It is good pay. I love having off on weekends since it is only Monday thru Friday. My boss and coworkers are wonderful to work with. I like working independently.

Cons

Instead of the trainee following the trainer (who has a lot of experience) - I was trained for two days. Little by little additional aspects of my main job were layered in. At 2 weeks my boss followed me to make sure I knew what I was doing instead of myself following her. It is timed! You have 45 minutes to be in and out of some stores. The bigger stores are three hours or more. Being timed gives me the most pressure. It's not quality at this company but quantity-meaning store visit frequency.

Pros

My immediate team is great.

Cons

The parent company is so big, the people in charge of making decisions about your salary do not know you. Company gets rid of people, and don't replace them, so all their work falls on the people remaining, and they do not get a raise for it. Known to go years without a merit increase, despite glowing manager reviews.
