Pros

Great staff, feels like a small hospital where you know everyone. For the size they deal with very complex patients.

Cons

Over the years I feel they don't listen to their staff or care about staff satisfaction as much. I feel that the changes I have seen are universal to healthcare and not just a problem at Porter, but it's unfortunate to see. I see them cutting costs in things like iv tubing and buff caps. Small changes, but the quality is just crap and it's annoying as an employee having to use the new crappy supplies etc.

Pros

I have the best boss and the leadership is wonderful here. There are Associate Forums where our leadership updates us on what is happening, we can ask questions etc. Pay is fair, benefits are good, fellow associates are amazing!

Cons

I guess if anything I would say that it would be nice to have some capital improvements - more renovation of some older areas.
