Pros

Good pay, New updated equipment to work with. Always have supplies needed to do a good job.

Cons

You accumulate PDO. When taking off for vacations, holidays or sick days it all comes out of PDO. A new employee just starting will accumulate a little less than 8 hours a month. Unless you work all the holidays, 40 hours of PDO is used on holidays. That leaves a little over 40 hours to cover sick time and vacation for the first 3 years before your PDO hours is upped to almost 10 hours a month.

Pros

Great team work, nice facility. Most of the docs are friendly and respectful, but there will always be a few who are not very pleasant to work with.

Cons

Underpaid, of course. Management obsessed with productivity and margins unfortunately. Always being asked to do more with fewer resources and staff.

Pros

Caring colleagues, beautiful facility with private rooms . nurses really care about their patients & families as well as each other.

Cons

no retention bonus, too many scripted expectations. Provide the education for the HCAhPs score priorities, but let nurse's communicate in their own way without having to memorize scripts
