Pros

Competitive pay (for most roles), Mission, making a difference in the community, co-workers, sense of doing good

Cons

Questionable ethics. Lack of transparency and communication. Disparity and unequal treatment/discipline and rewards of/for staff, no real incentive or recognition programs, PTO has to be used for holidays, top heavy, nepotism, favoritism, leadership do not "walk the talk", work/life balance is practiced most by those who can afford it. Shocking lack of documented practices, procedures and training.
