      Hospital Closure

      Family environment and caring staff

      Cons

      Corporate leadership was irresponsible with monetary funds and promptly closed the hospital after the Federal Trade Commission wanted to investigate a deal to hand over the hospital to a competitor due to the inability to continue operations. Very poor planning on how and when to close the hospital.

      Great coworkers Local staff try their best to meet project goals The staff try to do their best in the current working conditions

      Cons

      Lack of benefits - costs near 1000$/month to insure family. Subpar compared to local competitors Required use of PTO - use PTO to pay holidays and required to use extra PTO for 7 "flex" days per year Disconnect between corporate and local staff All staff are non exempt with strict no overtime policy No telecommute policy

      Unprofessional clinic management and high turnover rate

      My fellow employees were great. They are probably what had kept me there so long.

      Cons

      Management constantly unavailable (I had 5 supervisors in 4 years), unrealistic standards to cut labor costs, poor pay, hiring "outside sources" instead of building employees within, multiple reports of bullying from management, more concern about clocking in correctly rather than patient care, some unprofessionalism from staff due to often absent managment.
