Compensation is a contentious issue at the hospital. Despite frequent complaints from management about a lack of funds, executives often award themselves substantial pay raises. While employees are occasionally promised salary increases, the amounts often fall short of expectations. The way hospitals state they’re in deficient, is that they bill the insurance a certain amount and granted they get paid less, as most insurances do so, yet they claim what is not paid as deficit.
