      Pros

      Great place for new nurses to start up. Has some great nurses that are very helpful. Decent pay for Selma with yearly 2 percent increase.

      Cons

      Attending stafff meeting can be hard sometimes. Its mandatory. Once per month. Annual bonus is only $50, can be better. HR loses employee paperworks , they lost my retirement paperwork, which I found out a year later, and my submitted bachelor degree, which I submitted before I start my job. Low census, nurses can get out on call pretty frequently.

      Pros

      The benefits are on par with other healthcare systems. Direct patient care departments seem to be a good place to work.

      Cons

      Corporate management is ultra-conservative. If you are not a Seventh Day Adventist church member, you won't go far in this company. The C-suite has very little interest in protecting their employees. If you work here, you are a number. Employee input is not welcome and if you are not willing to share your medical information with them, your health benefits cost you much more.

      • Sheltered faith-based institution • Short work days on Friday because of their sabbath (this is mainly only applied at corporate, in the hospital they really dont push this) • People are awesome and positive most of the time. • They follow their mission • Secure business • Job Security

      Cons

      • Antiquated in the digital world • Moves like molasses • Approvals hold everything up • Small budgets • Always doing things on s shoe string budget • Leadership has changed a lot • Growing too fast • Employee appreciation • Employee empowerment • Date mentality • Department structure has been off and not appropriate to the times (titles and direct reports) • Titles really do not do what they say they are, or lack of knowledge of the matter subject. • Plays too safe • Afraid to go out in the community • Hidden agendas • Employee growth • Pay is low per industry standards • Employees wear too many hats
