Pros

Lots of support from your fellow staff nurses

Cons

zero support from admin and management, They use and abuse nurses and 60-70% are new grads because they cannot retain nurses. Nurses do all the work and do the jobs of the doctors such as putting in orders and chasing them down to assess patients and get them proper treatment. No breaks, charge nurses have patients and pay is not good.

Pros

Small environment and a manageable campus.

Cons

The management style was poor. Lack of communication, simply hiring warm bodies and never acknowledging quality employees. Co-workers were amazing.

Wages

Pros

Wage was good five years ago, but the cost of living has made it difficult to afford basic needs on the wages from Adventist health

Cons

Only 3 sick days a year, you have to use your own earned PTO for paid holidays, turnover in management is too much. Poor communication. Nobody cares about unfair treatment.
