Pros

Good hours, easy to pick up extra shifts, good benefits

Cons

Bathroom breaks were scarce. Breaks in general were hard to come by. At one time my coworker and I went the entire 12 hour shift and weren’t given a lunch break and only one short bathroom break at the beginning of the shift. Sitting with suicidal people for 12 hours at a time can take a toll on your mental health. There was some sexual misconduct between employees. Most employees did not represent the Adventist mission.

Pros

Streamlined systems make it easy to track patient care.

Cons

It is evident that the company puts finances above its employees.

Extremely faith-based!

Pros

Beautiful building in Roseville, nice cafeteria with healthy meals

Cons

While I understand it’s a faith based company and the application asks, “do you have any issues with prayer”, having Jesus mentioned during new hire orientation is a bit much. I’ve worked for other faith based orgs and never heard of having prayer in meetings. The pay is also extremely low and the company is disorganized.
