The company's software is outdated and confusing. Very few people left at the company even know how the original technology works. The software has been usurped by competitors in the market and leadership is panicking trying to play catchup as they continuously lose "partners". All levels of leadership from direct managers to the c-suite focus more on being nice and being liked rather than taking responsibility and making decisions. Decisions that should take a day take several weeks due to indecisiveness. Software development, design, and product department relationships are a complete mess. Engineers are excluded from key decisions and the entire product development process is top down with little to no input from the engineers who will be building the software. This is exacerbated by the panic and poor leadership as the company continues to lose business. Leadership will encourage you to give 200% but refuses to recognize employee contributions. Instead this is left to peers to call out any accomplishments.
