Pros

The culture, the leadership, everything about Adyen focuses on you as an individual first. There is a lot of effort put in to helping you grow your career in the direction you want to take it. The compensation is also top-notch.

Cons

The only con I can see is that the clients are big companies that are used to people bending over backwards for them. They can be demanding at times.

Pros

Great culture and work environment. Lots of freedom to pursue projects of interest. A lot of former self-employed folks/entrepreneurs do very well here. During non-COVID times, there's a lot of opportunity to travel to awesome locations all across the globe.

Cons

Steep learning curve if you're new to the industry and rapid growth have caused some new growing pains, but this is the case with any company as it grows. COVID has taken away from a lot of the perks around travel. There isn't any form of stock based incentives/comp that's common in many other Bay Area companies.
