      Pros

      Nice part of the country to raise family. The employees are very nice.

      Cons

      Company is always struggling and there is always an exercise why you shouldn't get paid market. Plus it takes them ages to get rid of horrible managers.

      Pros

      * Friendly environment and colleagues. * Interesting work across different groups; I've seen colleagues move into different roles, so if you are proactive and a good performer, internal opportunities are solid. * AAM did a pretty great job handling the pandemic. Employees were given resources (monitors, laptops, etc.) to handle working from home. * Compensation and benefits are in-line with market.

      Cons

      No major cons, but prospective employees should be aware: * AAM is a global company, so you will need to balance working with colleagues in the Netherlands and UK. This can lead to busy mornings. * Depending on your role, you may work more than 40 hours per week. This shouldn't be a major shock. That said, management has been sincere in promoting work-life balance and stepping away from your screens, particularly during the pandemic.
