Pros

Job gave me plenty of free time. We worked our own schedules, and as long as the dealers that we represented were happy there was no micro managing.

Cons

Company gave little direction. Management was rarely available to assist you with issues in the field. When installs happened we were given little notice of where we were needed, and zero planning before arriving at stores. Ultimately the company took dealers words over yours, and we took a beating due to dealer issues.

Free coffee and all of your coworkers will hate their lives just as much as you do.

Cons

The incompetence from management is actually impressive. I’ve never seen a group so absolutely clueless as to what’s going on below them. To put that into perspective: the entire company’s payroll info is readily available on the shared drive for everyone to see- just a couple clicks and you can see exactly what everyone makes. Is that somewhere you want to work? If you expect to be promoted (maybe multiple times in a year) all you need to do is be related to an executive of your choice— no prior experience necessary! If you are not an executive you will not have your voice heard, anything you ask or bring up will be blatantly ignored. Don’t expect anyone to listen to your recommendations or pleas for help, you are disposable and they’ll just buy out another company to replace you anyways..
