Pros

Remote work. Working with the creative team. Coming up with campaign strategies.

Cons

Poor leadership in this department: 1. The managers expect you to work past business hours (I was an hourly employee) 2. The one time I told one of the managers that I couldn't stay after biz hours to work on a file due to a personal obligation, he hung up on me then proceeded to chat me and write "Clear your schedule this week. I need you to be available after 6pm" (Again, I was HOURLY). 3. I was told from the same manager that "Work is my obligation" after I reiterated that I had a personal obligation and couldn't stay past 6pm to work on the file (I ended up staying to complete that task, and NEVER got a verbal thank you). 3. One of the managers micro-managed my time. Would check my time punches and "status" in teams chat. 4. Was talked down to by one of the managers when I inquired about a raise and my workload. 5. As the agency acquired more stores, there were more and more orders to fulfill on a weekly basis..to the point where I would be working through backlogs. Both of my managers knew about the growing workload, but put hiring help for me on the backburner. 6. The pay. The managers wanted to treat this position like it was salaried. Their expectations for getting work done after hours and the growing workload does not match the hourly rate.

Pros

The only pro is clocking out.

Cons

No one knows what's happening, and everyone is on a different page. It is embarrassing how unorganized this entire company is. The salary is so terrible that they forfeit people who are actually capable of doing the job for people who make working here a living nightmare. There's also a lack of diversity in leadership positions, which is unfortunate to see in 2020. AE's are clueless and no help at all. They never update anyone on what's happening on the account unless you annoy them about it. They will promise client's that something can be done without checking with the respective department to see if it's even possible first. They also spend most of their time online shopping at work. Most people making over 60k are unqualified and barely know how to write a proper email. All of the people who are actually getting paid or promoted are the result of favoritism from upper management. Communication across departments is the WORST. I've had better communication with college group members than some of the grown adults that work here. Bullying is part of the culture. The office gives off a frat boy feel. Lack of respect from other departments is normal. If you happen to be in a certain department, expect to be thrown under the bus in front of a client. It's not about working together as a "team" here. Everyone is just trying to one-up themselves regardless of how they get there. Management doesn't have a clue what their own departments do, and they barely reach out to us about our efforts. Don't expect to be recognized for taking on double your task load and solely getting every account back on track. This is "part of your job description" as they like to say. Quality of the work is substantially low for how much clients are paying. I'm surprised we still have clients at this point. Back in early 2019, my team was promised a quarterly performance review by upper management and have not been given a raise since. They constantly wave the "raise/promotion" flag in your face without actually rewarding it once you've completed the work they asked for. They are using the pandemic as an excuse to not do annual reviews this year, but still have the "budget" to hire 6-figure level positions. I think we hired at least 5 new exec people in the past 2 months after they took away our 401-k match back in March and still haven't restored it. They even downplayed the severity of the pandemic while we were constantly trying to tell HR how unsafe it is to work in the office. Upper management would actually laugh at how concerned some of the employees were. Before the pandemic even hit, we had a hygiene issue. People do not flush the toilet, or wash their hands. After about 3 months of working from home, they gave us the option to work in the office and only a handful of people showed up. That should show you how many people actually hate working here and this is just a means to an end job until 2021 hits and they force us to go back to the office. There is a certain group in the office that pushes political rhetoric as a normal topic of discussion, which is completely inappropriate in a "professional" setting. However, this office isn't professional at all, so maybe that's why this kind of behavior and talk is allowed. Most employees are burnt out and don't really care about accounts anymore. This company is continually losing top talent people for mediocrity all because they don't want to increase salaries. People are quitting almost every week, and it's only a matter of time before everything tanks. You could apply to Target or Costco and make close to what you would make here.

Pros

Free access to the building's gym

Cons

Lack of growth and healthy work environment. Everybody is fake here. They made employers write good reviews in exchange for gift cards..Gossip is the daily radio playing in the back. People in my own team barely learned to remember my name. Tasks are unorganized and repetitive. Everyday looks the same.
