Bad Managers, Bad at DEI

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

- good benefits - nice co workers

Cons

- bad managers are allowed to stay at their job and there is no recourse if your manager sucks - very bad at DEI and treating women and people of color well, lots of advertising about DEI which makes the majority (people not from these groups) feel like Affirm is doing a lot but it's largely lip service and unpaid work being done by people from these communities

Pros

great work life balance, you never have to stress about going to the doctor or needing to take time off in case of emergencies, its actively encouraged to deal with what you need to do.

Cons

The code base coming out of a startup environment has a lot to be desired.
