Pros

Affirm is one of the best companies I've worked for. The leadership at the C-suite level is literally one of the best especially Max, Libor and Linford. The mission is very inspiring and you feel proud telling your family you work for Affirm.

Cons

The mid-level engineering leadership is basically incompetent and mucks up everything on a regular basis trying to build empires. They are not truly product people who really give a damn in the same way that the C-suite and the ICs do.

Pros

Real cushy. Coworkers all sign off at 5pm

Cons

Complacent engineering culture. Everyone recognizes inefficiencies but rarely things get fixed

Pros

- Remote first - Great tech and food stipends - Awesome benefits - OK WLB - Decent comp

Cons

- Ultra-competitive once you are in - WLB getting worse - Backstabbing managers/leads - Peers will go throw you under the bus just so they look good.
