Pros

None at all run away from this job

Cons

They have a program where you are asked to lie to customer telling them the service provider will only take payment from customer when customers are fully covered with insurance and the service provider doesn’t know about this at all. Company only cares about how long you stay on call not about getting all you need from customer. Service providers constantly say that Agero does not pay them after they do the service so service providers don’t answer when you call for service

Pros

Its a work from home job.

Cons

Management isn’t always that great. Had a horrible coach during momentum switched to another due to a schedule change and i had to relearn everything because the previous coach failed to do so. I also dislike like even when you’re doing the right thing and saying the right scripting it’s still an issue with something which reviving criticism and critiques isn’t a bad thing but i feel that it gets to a point where it’s like dang “am i even doing this right?!”. And I’ve never had a bad customer service job wether it was wfh/face to face but this has been the most draining of them all and i really don’t like that.

Thank you for the feedback. It sounds like after a poor start you new manager assignment helped get you back on the right path. I would encourage you to speak to your HR or supervisory team to share feedback re: the first assignment so we can ensure this experience is addressed and the manager provided coaching.

Pros

Working from home is the only benefit.

Cons

This company pays a very low wage 13.50-14.00/hourly and then if you do well they will "cross-train" you in 10 different departments without compensation or a raise. High stress. You're expected to take calls from customers, insurance agents and service providers and negotiate with service providers. It's exploitative work...corporate greed hellscape. PTO is taken from your sick leave. Using pto that you've earned can earn you a point or two(points are bad) if it's not for being sick. They give you a paid floating holiday but tell you that you can't use it. I could go on for days. Don't work here. It's brutal.
