Amazing place to work with a culture that actually cares
Pros
Agile Six is by far the most supportive and human-centered company I've worked for. The self-managed structure here means no hierarchy—just a bunch of people who trust and support each other. I've had some tough times recently (sick pet, moving, getting sick myself), and every time, I've been encouraged to put myself first. It’s real work-life balance, not just talk. I am even planning a vacation after all that, with zero guilt. My team is super supportive, and we all have each other's backs. There’s a shared understanding that if we’re not whole, we can’t do our best work. The unlimited wellness time, generous PTO policy, remote work environment, and a culture that actively values wholeness make this possible. The pay is fair and transparent, with automatic pay raises 1-2x per year that are not based on individual performance but rather one is given as cost of living adjustments and the other is dependent only on company financial wellness. Plus, the ESOP, 401(k) match, and self-managed professional development budget show that the company really cares about our long-term well-being. Even with remote work, there are tons of ways to connect with other Sixers—Slack channels for everything from DIY projects, pets, world travels, and more, random coffee chats, Zoom socials, and even some in-person meetups. The focus is always on putting people first, and I genuinely feel that every day.
Cons
If you need a lot of structure or direct oversight, the self-managed setup might not be your thing
