      Decent benefits. Occasionally fed. Personal laptop

      Cons

      False promises of growth and career opportunities. Terrible onboarding process, no sense of culture or structure. Impossible 13 hr shifts with zero support from other departments if you work nights. Blatant favoritism among those that do receive promotions. Poor communication among departments. Upper management takes credit when things go well but denies any involvement in decisions that lead to poor outcomes. No accountability when issues arise. Lots of band aid solutions. Safety is not a core value. No clear direction on how to promote career development from management.

      Good perks: 401k match of 6% and ESPP

      Cons

      Bad managers everywhere. Most managers became managers because the last one left company. Most new managers don’t even get manager training and work with old micromanagement style with little scope for creativity. Moral is very low in company. Most employees work for 50 hours/week but still don’t get rewarded with Individual Performance Bonus!

      The people are great and skilled but the management is about as bad as it gets.

      Cons

      Management in Genome is the worst I have ever been around from a controlling perspective. You are handcuffed to do anything without checking in. When I say “anything” I mean anything. HR is non existent and needs to check in on this ASAP.
