Pros

Agiloft is growing rapidly, making it an exciting place to work. I get to help shape a new culture, and things are changing all the time. My supervisors, the president and CEO, show a great deal of trust and respect in our opinions and work. That's invaluable as an employee. Nothing but good things to say about my coworkers, who are all extremely smart (a bit nerdy), funny, easy to work with people.

Cons

Growth comes with its challenges as well. Things change quickly and sometimes without notice, which can bring a certain amount of disorganization.

Financially stable company with great work/life balance!

Pros

Unlike most start-ups, Agiloft is profitable, financially stable, and debt-free, so there's no need to worry about operating capital drying up, no mad rush to line up the next round of funding, and no need to court investors. Instead, we are able to focus on improving our product and keeping customers happy. Also unlike most start-ups, Agiloft has a great work/life balance. Employees are not expected to "live" at the office. That means we don't have a lot of the typical trappings of start-up offices like kegerators, foosball tables, etc., but it also means there is none of that typical "frat-boy"-like culture where employees are obligated to do all of their socializing, etc. at the office. At the end of the day, we are free to go home and enjoy our free time as we see fit, guilt-free.

Cons

The company is growing fairly quickly, so things can be a bit hectic and cramped in the office. We have just secured additional office space to expand into but with rapid growth there will always be a few growing pains.
