No Better Biotech than Agios

Pros

Agios is an incredible place to work. The culture is inclusive and collaborative, and the way Agios engages with and includes patients in the work we do is unlike any other biotech/pharma company I have seen. There is a very positive outlook given near-term and long-term pipeline. I love working at Agios and see a very bright future ahead for the company and our patients.

Cons

Really none from my experience thus far. There have been a few bumps with changes in leadership, but all has always been for the best and well communicated. Excellent company and leaders.

Promising pipeline friendly culture

Pros

Good pipeline of likely launches in next few years plus good cash position Friendly collaborative culture. Smart people Flexibility. Choice of remote vs hybrid vs in person. Good benefits, unlimited vacation and two annual weekly shutdowns plus other bonus synchronous days off

Cons

Specific bad apples among management. Mostly good people but vet your manager Career opportunities and mobility not always a specific focus but may happen organically. Small company so not a lot of openings to move around A lot of management changes in certain departments can prevent career progression
