Pros
The pay and benefits were relatively good. The plant manager is super nice. One of the most diverse places to work in the area - plenty of opportunity for those whom English isn’t their first language.
Cons
Dangerous, hot, wet, and super-uncomfortable work environment. Low employee morale and confidence in the management. Nepotism amongst the management. An overall culture of ‘do as little as possible unless the inspectors are coming - then do the bare minimum’. Incredibly high turnover rate. Training is a joke.. everything about the place might seem legit on paper but once you get in there and really see the nuts and bolts of the operation - it’s all rusty nuts, stripped out bolts, duct tape, band-aids, and grinding gears - not good.
