Pros

- Remote and connected team - Investment in employees with on boarding training and on sites - Team is receptive to suggestions without ego - Always improving - Freedom to get work done - Work that is customer focused with the reasons - High level of transparency

Cons

- On boarding can feel long (mine was five weeks) but well worth it - You might miss that idle chatter of an office but it will pass

Pros

Aha! has a culture that is not bogged down in old school tradition or new school popularity contests. It's about the work and coming together to do the best we can for our users and the team. Handling hyper growth is difficult and I've seen many companies fail, but Aha! has the formula for attracting top talent, building a world class tool, and managing growth with grace. A completely remote team forces us to be creative about team building and communication. Aha! has definitely figured this out. I never feel isolated and I always feel supported and I love being able to quickly transition from work to home life. There are absolutely no seat fillers. Everyone at Aha! is high caliber. The recruiting process is set up well to identify who will be a good fit and who, though talented as they might be, would not do well in our environment. The onsites (twice yearly gatherings of the whole team in a destination locations) are amazing. You get to know your team members better and participate in developing company strategy. One of the most comprehensive onboarding programs I've ever seen. Transitioning from a Product Manager to a Customer Success Manager would have been incredibly difficult without the detailed onboarding materials and plan.

Cons

I can't think of a single thing.

Pros

Aha! gives you a place to do profound and exciting work, where you get a level of autonomy --and more importantly, trust to experiment and find the right solution. Worklife at Aha! is very autonomous with minimal meetings and minimal processes. As an engineer, I find this to be the perfect way to get work done and have a real impact on a remote team. Every week something ships at Aha! We ship features when they are "customer ready," not according to deadlines or release cycles. It is satisfying to work on a feature that you know will delight your customers, and not waiting a long time for it to go live or to work on features that never ship. We also rarely start something in engineering that we do not finish. That is a testament to having a clear strategy and a highly collaborative product management and UX team.

Cons

Nothing to add at the time.
