Rare opportunity to be part of something remarkable

Pros

It is rare to have an opportunity to be part of an organization that is growing fast (and is profitable). And it is even more unique to be a part of an organization that sticks to its principles that put people and profit first. Employees at Aha! are surrounded by an incredible group of hard-working and committed people just like them. It is both highly motivating and challenging (in a good way). On top of that, Aha! is proving that companies can function successfully with a 100% remote workforce at scale. It doesn't get much better than working on an exciting product, for a successful company, with smart people and doing it all from the "office" of your choosing.

Cons

Nothing to note at this time

An Amazing Culture

Pros

The people at Aha! are truly exceptional. Even before my first day I felt welcomed and excited to join a team of highly talented and caring individuals. The leadership team does a great job of communicating expectations and goals and brings the entire company along on the journey. Everyone works hard to achieve the same goals and build something great. For the right person, working remotely can be amazing and the recruiting team at Aha! is gifted at finding talented people. Everyone works really hard and is a top talent in their field yet they are all incredibly humble and willing to help with anything at a moments notice. I also love that I learn new things daily, especially in regards to other areas of the business that I might not have been exposed to at other companies. There is true transparency which is very refreshing.

Cons

As mentioned above, working from home can be a blessing for the right person. The team works very hard and is super responsive which might be a challenge for some people to work that way. While I never feel alone (we are constantly connecting via chat or video meetings) I could see where some might need more in person connection. Working from home allows me to get more done, however you have to be someone who is self motivated and somewhat technically savvy as there is no IT support down the hallway to come over and explain how to use a particular application. I would say that as long as you are looking to work remotely for the right reasons Aha! will be a great fit. Remote work at Aha! is not for slacking. If you are not internally motivated then the environment might not be a good fit.

Great place to make an impact

Pros

Aha! allows you to have a real positive impact on customers. As an engineer, I get to build features every day that customers will be using just a few days later. And, we use our product internally -- it is especially satisfying to crank out a feature and then make use of it myself or to spot and implement improvements in my daily use. Aha! also focuses heavily on employee growth. I receive regular and honest feedback about my work and feel that Aha! rewards my achievements. And I was recently promoted to lead a team. Aha! is a great place to grow and feel like you are having a real impact every day.

Cons

I really can't think of any cons to working here.
