Pros

- Aha! only hires experts, ensuring a team of high caliber. Working alongside the best daily is truly rewarding. - The company sets ambitious goals and has rapidly grown to serve over 700,000 product builders. As a result Aha! is highly profitable and growing. It is a very stable company to work for. - The customer success team gets to work with some of the world's most innovative companies. You get to learn something new every day.

Cons

At Aha!, we thrive on regular feedback to achieve team growth and personal development. This culture of continuous improvement might be challenging for those who find it difficult to adapt based on feedback or iterate on their work. If you're not comfortable with an environment that values constructive criticism as a means to achieve excellence, Aha! might not align with your preferred working style.

Pros

The pay is the carrot, the work is the stick.

Cons

Severe micromanagement from the top down. Aha! is an admirable company insofar as them being successful and bootstrapped, but this has resulted in a lack of trust in folks to work to the exact script. I think you only need to run through the reviews here to see the majority are fabricated (I mean, come on!) and the ones that are genuine are often met with a condescending reply from the CEO which speaks volumes IMO. I don't want to rant, but would advise people interested in working here to think long and hard about the kind of environment you're joining, questions the job expectation intensely and request that you interview with your team lead during the interview process to get a feel for that relationship. Bizarrely the hiring process often bypasses your team lead which is another example of the intense control senior leadership desire.

I feel badly that you felt compelled to write that. My sense is that you feel wronged in some fundamental way. I would like to understand why and if there is anything I can personally do to help. Maybe you will consider reaching out directly to me to have a conversation. Regardless, there are a number of comments in your post that suggest you might not even work at the company. * People can post or not post here – what you read is what people think (good and bad) * The majority of people hired meet with their hiring manager – everyone meets with a hiring manager and the VP of the function *Everyone on the team meets with their manager 1:1 every week You deserve a role where you feel respected and valued no mater where you work or what you do. We have never wavered from that fundamental belief or our core values over the last ten years. We will keep doing our best to do the same.

Still amazing after all these years

Pros

I have been working for Aha! for almost six years now. I joined Aha! because everything I read about the product, the people, the work, and the company seemed unlike any other company I have worked for. It was inspiring to me. Several years later, and it is still inspiring. I get to work with the best in the business. I get to do work every day that I love. My fellow Aha!s are brilliant, hard working, and kind. They care about the work they do and they care about the people they work with. Getting together with them twice a year at onsites is truly a highlight. The product is incredible and always improving. I cannot imagine not using it every day to do my job. It is just that good and the people that built it are even better. It makes me proud to work at Aha!.

Cons

An incredible amount of effort is put into daily work, sometimes it is easy to get so buried in it that you forget to pause and celebrate what you have achieved. Take a breath, it's okay to do so.
