Pros

Culture: Aha! has a strong culture - everyone is amazing and welcoming; Slack and our weekly team meeting are the best for keeping in touch with what's going on (work and social). Clarity: The company's goals and direction are clear as are your responsibilities and what is expected of you. Onboarding was organized and planned. Remote: Aha! is 100% remote and that isn't going to change. You don't have to worry about being called back to the office, or trying out a new 'flex' schedule Bootstrapped: The company is run by the founders and profitable which makes things constant and steady ... no 'pivots.'

Cons

Not everyone is going to want to work the way we do - read Lovability and learn about The Responsive Method. I love working like this, but you may not. The company is still small and change can happen quickly. This also gives you more of a chance to contribute though.

You are very kind. We have done our best to live up to the company's values for over nine years now. Getting better as a person and organization is always a work in progress and we will keep trying to provide more value for each other, customers, and the communities that we live and work in. Thanks.

Pros

When working at Aha! you quickly learn that everything you've read in the blogs and on the website is true. This is a company which holds dear to its heart, the principles of kindness, transparency, clarity and growth. We all work hard each day towards clearly articulated, shared goals. We are empowered to act, educated by an on-boarding process that is second to none. After on-boarding, the mentoring process continues us along a path of personal, professional growth based on our own goals and interests. Twice a year, we all get together for a week-long event at which we consider the past 6 months and the 6 months ahead. We openly discuss any challenges and how we will work to improve. The learning and camaraderie are in equal supply and everyone is truly lifted by the event. Then we head home and put it into practice. Ultimately, we work hard because we enjoy what we do, who we do it with and we share in the rewards both intrinsic and extrinsic, collectively. That I get to do this in the comfort of my own home office is a real bonus. People ask, "don't you get a bit claustrophobic being stuck in the house all day?" and I can say honestly, "no." I love working from home. When I go to make coffee, I don't have that slightly awkward conversation with someone I don't know so well... I get to see my wife.

Cons

To be honest, I struggle to think of any cons of working for Aha! — except maybe that I no longer get to listen to 2 hours of Audible each day as part of the commute to work and back. I do miss listening to Audible. But on the other hand, I don't have 2 hours of driving every day.

Pros

I first used Aha! when I drove its adoption with my product team at a global Fortune 500 telecommunications company. Aha! united our product management group. We were responsible for major digital applications and it empowered me to lead product better than any other tool I've used (which was mostly Excel). So, when I learned that Aha! was rapidly growing, I really wanted to learn more. And the more I read about the company, the more intrigued I became. So, I took a chance, applied for a new position to help the company expand into Europe, and was fortunate to join the team earlier this year. Now that I work at Aha! I know that I have found an incredible organisation. After more than 15 years of working in well-known companies, Aha! is the first team I've worked with that really does put people first. This starts with employees and extends directly to customers. It is a human-centric organisation that values being responsive. I spend a lot of time working on challenging projects and learning from my colleagues. And I work from my home office. It's hard to ask for more than that!

Cons

Can't think of any so far
