Pros

401(k), Lots of good people at the line level. The satisfaction of doing something that saves lives. Better than average pay for some specialities.

Cons

Management. Some VP's were very good at looking out for their people, others not so much. Disparity between regions had some employees enjoying promised perks while others were forced to do without. In extreme cases, covering vehicle/travel expenses out of their own pocket, while others enjoyed premium rental vehicles, and other niceties.
