Pros

Overall, good group of people to work with. Good cafeteria and fitness center. Kind of flexible working schedule. Well Established Work Practices

Cons

Compensation not in line with industry. Not enough trainning to develop. Limited career advancement opportunities. Long-winded performance review process with unfair matrix type rating system.

Pros

Good company that is well recognized by wall-street, smart people work there, lots of ex-military there as well in leadership - very political

Cons

Not sure who they are after getting burned with Airgas fiasco - top down culture-open & honest (say what's on your mind) communication doesn't exist here, sales reps have weekly itinerary reports they have to do because national sales manager didn't like the ride with rep---very micro-managed right now. Also going thru a blood letting process of taking very intelligent well qualifed technical reps, eliminating their positions thru poor reviews & replacing them with entry level reps who know nothing of industry. Either this is major cost cutting efforts or they're getting ready to sell off a bunch of plants....changing to commodity business rather than value sell
