Pros

* Fun smart caring people to work with. * Good atmosphere. * Great perks (free meals, snacks, happy hour, a lot of extra PTO days etc). * Certain flexibility within working from home. * Generous travel coupons.

Cons

Though the company exists for around 6 yrs now& has thousands of employees all around, it still has the growing pains of a young start up: mixed messages from management when it comes to work procedures, not very clear career progression, constant random changes, & low salaries compared to other similar Tech companies.

Pros

Amazing group of people, benefits and flexibility for travelling, PERFECT food program.

Cons

No growth possibilities within the company. Losing their culture, more focused on growing worldwide than keeping it real. Hard to work life balance.

Pros

people: very talented colleagues, either inspiring or setting a benchmark for the others. Inefficiencies reduced to the bone projects: amazing product, fast-paced environment challenging constantly employees to step out from their comfort zone. Company is very fluid and that helps never getting bored Core values: Airbnb is a family, you want to believe in its culture and values to work here, otherwise not the right place for you. Everything is inspired by principles of equality, diversity, performance, entrepreneurship, attention to details, passion for our hosts and guests. This is really something you perceive every day everywhere.

Cons

start-up confusion: some stuff is looked over, but that is the flipside of a fast-paced environment. Looking at that positively, one could say that people prioritize and let go what's not necessary to dedicate time at work-life balance: company employee base is lower than peer companies. That triggers loads of work and drives a requirement to prioritise every single matter, otherwise there is a significant risk to work around the clock. That's also facilitated by the general passion and tendency of a lot of colleagues to dedicate their spare time to their work. Career opportunities: difficult to understand upscale and development compensation is generally way above market standards, but the lack of a bonus plan makes passion for work the only driver to good performance. People go to the extra mile just because they love the company, its culture, values and mission
