Pros

Good pay. Products are well designed and robust for the most part. Fast expense reimbursement. Job looks good on your resume.

Cons

Chaotic work environment. Constant changes to internal processes ensures the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Insufficient (non-existent) training for new employees - hit the ground running and learn on the job as best you can. Crucial executives are not fit for their jobs making underlings lives miserable. This job will beat you down and make you question your abilities

Management of Engineering have no management skills. They may be good engineers but very bad in people skills.

The pay and benefits are the only pros. If you can get past dreading to come to work.

Cons

If you take the amount of hours they expect you to work and divide that into your salary, the pay isn't that great.

Pros

The company pays well, good benefits, travel some, and provides employee activities. The regional manager is great. He is concerned with employees and tries to work things out to assist when he can.

Cons

The direct report manager is temperamental at best. Several employees have reported issues with her. She is a helicopter manager. Documents everything in weekly meeting to control employees, and does not seem to understand that there are better ways to manage. Promotes others in the group to tell on each other. And the list goes on and on. Just not a happy environment.
