Pros

Everyone at this company works hard from the President on down. I have worked at several relocation companies and not found one where expectations are the same across the board. They are honest, forthcoming with information and most importantly always working to do the next right or best thing.

Cons

Every company has its' cons, but at AIReS I feel like they address challenges in an open forum and change them going forward.

Pros

AIReS is a great company that has a unique service offering in the relocation industry and is populated by passionate people that are mostly career-oriented. They offer a huge bonus based on company performance and not individual performance. There is a great team atmosphere and people are used to working together to achieve company goals. There is very little showboating and the majority of employees are more focused on team accomplishment than their own agenda.

Cons

Mid-level management serves only to regurgitate upper management policies and has no actual effectiveness on the team members, and does not quickly resolve issues. In fact, there is a great deal of bureaucracy to overcome between the various mid-level managers who are all throwing their weight around when it comes to managing the operations teams. This results in a severe loss in productivity. Actual service failures are typically a result of hard to manage caseloads. Not only are operations team members overwhelmed by their assigned volume of work, but when service issues arise due to being overwhelmed, necessary overtime is either discouraged our outright denied. Objective decisions (such as raises and promotions) are made using subjective feedback from transferees.
