      Pros

      Hours are good, M-F no weekends or holidays. Company phone & laptop.

      Since the Air Liquide acquisition they are always looking to cut expenses any way possible. Payroll is viewed as the greatest expense rather than the greatest asset. Branch Managers have to do and know all. We are the go-to and person responsible for; Safety, DOT compliance, Medical compliance, FDA compliance, in-stock conditions, showroom standards, hiring, and so much more. There are about 15 different reports that come down weekly and monthly that we are held accountable for.

      As a driver, you are one mistake away from being terminated. High stress. Self righteous safety personnel make the job very stressful. Intense labor. They once fired an exceptional driver of 14 years because he caused $200 damage to an awning. There are better jobs out there. They give unproductive drivers an $800 bonus while the drivers that make the business run are compensated $3 less on the hour and are ineligible for the bonus. Very unfair. Did I mention the hot shot drivers constantly clean up behind the Route Drivers?

      Do not drive for this company. You’d be better off driving for Swift.

      Salary is fair ...more than most companies

      Cons

      Management/leadership does not want to learn anything that seems to be “below” their job title. Management LIES a lot about future development and will try to dictate your career path for you. They will ask you about career goals without having any intentions on acting on it. I was asked to act as a temporary Hr Coordinator then asked to move into the HR Coord role without any compensation. An external candidate was selected and paid more than what I would’ve been compensated for.
