Great team of Associates, good benefits, tools to be successful

Cons

with recent acquisition by Air Liquide, the Airgas culture that was once proud and successful is being eroded and will most likely vanish within 5 years. The majority of the Air Liquide Senior Management team and their Associates have little to no respect for the work that Airgas has done in the past. Their is a reason the majority of Air Liquide customers disliked their experience with Air Liquide. Very little customer relations, more combative than collaborative.

A Rude Awakening

Pros

Great at training their employees. They really give you the resources to become successful at the tasks at hand. Great group of people to be around.

Cons

The pay scale is literally a "crap shoot". People can skate by literally doing a little as possible, while the people busting their humps will have to pick up the load.

Pros

Basic 9-5 inside sales position. Clean office environment with air conditioning. Slight discount on personal safety supplies.

Cons

You have to dial out a specific amount of minutes a day whether you are actually talking to someone of just leaving messages all day. The management plays favorites with their team and gives the good leads to the "yes" people. You are micromanaged down to the last detail. All the floor managers have to listen to all the outgoing calls to make sure the reps arent talking to their friends just to build up their minutes talked number. The president of the company is a woman who is led by her emotions (I am a woman so I say that with knowledge). I caught her on more than one occasion ease-dropping on conversations. She was known to call people into her office and try and get information from them about what the other staff members are doing wrong. If you connected with a company that happened to be in the area one of the top performers like to work, it was known your new account would be taken from you. Outside sales tries to steal your leads. One of the worst experiences of my life.
