Safety department is over the top

Dead end career. Heavy labor job not what's advertised. Truly a company that would post your job before the obituary is written. High Drug and alcohol use. So bad 1 person was gone for 3months and we had to act like nothing happened. (Don't believe me test the ones you don't do randoms on) 1 person doesn't have a clue what the product even is (4+yr employee) or how to get it to the customer in a timely manner. Habitually lies when caught. Clearly makes mistakes (proof is in the SAP system) Upper-level member is never available also doesn't return calls or emails from customers about issues. Out of town big shot tries to be a bully and will treat employees like absolute garbage if they are not willing to be a snitch. Idea of growth is allowing customers to not get vital product and then leave to other providers shrinking the workload down to a manageable level instead of focusing on better training and more qualified employees. Willing to turn head away from huge safety concerns because work must get done. The go to department for help is completely unresponsive to any issue because they don't want to get on Bully's bad side. Drivers are in a collective bargaining unit and charged $100 a month to be members, but new drivers don't receive the same benefits. Apparently "Airgas has better benefits than the union." So why join it? Collective bargaining unit is a joke and doesn't know how to represent "all" members just the upper members. Big turnover in driver jobs in past year highly overworked. Plant workers also. Ask about the one who got fired for threatening another worker. Had to have private security onsite after that. I could keep going but hopefully this much has been a good enough deterrence.
