Pros

Majority of co-workers Benefits, PTO, etc. Nice office environment (There's a 20 word minimum here, but I can't think of any other positives)

Cons

Low pay for amount of work on your desk Management is unrealistic with expectations of their employees If it doesn't effect management, they could care less No positive reinforcement of employees Treated like just another Joe off the street Management seems to forget how it was when they were just an "employee" Again, way too much work to do and management seems to care less if you sink or swim

Pros

Company was previously entrepreneurial and growth oriented. Prior leadership in Division until about a year ago was good although tough but fair.

Cons

Company is being acquired by a French multi-national company. Expect near future layoffs across the nation. Heavy turnover in divisions executive staff over last year due to leadership that is more concerned about their own skins than being true leaders and growing the business. Division culture is a direct reflection of absentee president who blames region presidents versus taking ownership for his weak leadership and inaction to grow sales and guide regional leadership teams. Heavy turnover in HR department over last year. Prior HR knew the business and could be counted on to handle issues confidentially except for West Region HR team. New HR leadership in last year is perceived as sneaky, untrustworthy and inept.

Pros

Good job to visit customers. good sales position for resume. A lot of nice people.

Cons

Depending on who is AVP, budgets can be impossible to attain. If you have a successful year the following will not be. Lots of miles on personal vehicle and not compesated properly. Management seems scatter brained and the sales goals change to frequently. Too many changes in management as well. Store locations fight with outside sales and make working conditions difficult.
