Pros
I’ve been at Aisera for 4mos. During that time, I have been reporting directly to the CFO. While supporting the Talent Acquisition function, the company has grown over 50%, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with a stellar leadership team who enjoy building world-class products.
The work environment is collaborative, and fast-moving. We recently closed a round of Series C funding, and have experienced massive growth in our user base (65m+ and counting!). It’s a good environment for those who enjoy solving complex problems, at scale.
When I started, I would come into the office twice a week. Although there was no official policy on dogs in the workplace, I spoke with my supervisor and was able to bring mine one day a week. Recently, I’ve been working from home.
Many of our roles are available for WFH remote work, and that has made my job easier.
I’ve also enjoyed my time at Aisera because we are a truly global team - with team members all over the world.
Cons
The team is growing quickly and has a global presence. One potential con related to this is that there are core hours (in PT) that are generally needed for collaboration.
This might be a con for someone on the East Coast, for example.
