I've been really happy so far with my time at Aiven, and I've learned more in a short amount of time than at any other tech company I've been at. Pros include: - Awesome people, company culture, and benefits - Strong product capability in fast growing market - Traction with customers - The organization truly embodies an open-source mindset - Opportunity for staff to take ownership - Non hierarchical (good ideas can come from anywhere) Despite a tough macro environment where Aiven (along with many other high-growth SaaS start-ups) had to do a restructure, the leadership team is taking clear actions to put the company in a position of long-term success.

Cons

Aiven is an easier environment to operate if you are a self-starter, it can be tougher for staff that prefer everything in a detailed business process.
