Pros

Great health insurance and benefits, work life balance is awesome

Cons

Slow moving, not innovative, siloed communication, pay is poor and not competative, way too many managers not enough engineers. Management can get paid up to double what the actual engineers get paid. Middle management is way too convoluted and communication is poor. No interdepartmental collaboration. No plans for innovation. CEO is weak and lacks vision.

Pros

Big company benefits - good health care, Discounted Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), 401k. Good place to gain broad technology skills (CDN, internet, security, performance, FEO)

Cons

Extremely political culture, too many layers of management, poor career advancement opportunities, everyone overworked, no vacation policy (elective)

Pros

Middle management is political ( if you like that sort of thing) , Established company

Cons

They have a highly political middle management especially in the media division. Innovation is missing and company is riding wave of increased video traffic on internet. Upper management is entrenched in slow decision making process and is passive about any major changes in organization to shake up things. To get something up and running takes months. To rollout products takes years. They have highly distributed infrastructure which is closer to end users but also limits rapid deployment and limits rolling out new business like cloud services much slowly.
