Pros

I've been at Akamai for 5 years and recommend it without hesitation - the people are wonderful, the work is varied and interesting, and the benefits are great. An awesome place to learn and grow your career.

Cons

Very global company - which is a positive for me, but if you don't like making an oddly-timed meeting occasionally you might not like it

Pros

Everyone is very willing to share their best practices (contacts, decks, excel templates) to help each other, be ready to be around super smart interesting and kind people, you are encouraged to take vacation, really interesting work, well compensated, there's ALWAYS something new to learn to expand your skills and abilities

Cons

The organizations are fairly siloed, so its hard to know what's going on in other groups unless you know someone here
