Pros
I can't say enough about every non-senior employee at the company. Everyone is intelligent and I truly enjoy working with them. The company has a great foothold on the security space.
Cons
No vision - we've sat idly by and watched Google and others gain entry into the consumer space. Instead of bringing in visionary management, we hire the CEO's friends to ride the coattails of the success built by our junior employees. This would be fine if we ended up with the best, hungriest candidates, but they have yet to show any progress. We have the same issues as two years ago. When you try to engage management to fix systemic issues, they have no interest. Our lack of engineering resources is a huge issue and is truly slowing innovation and efficiency. It has become a running joke that any good idea won't get worked on for 1-2 years. This kills the perk of working at a "small, nimble" company. We might as well be a massive org if you have to sit through 5 meetings to convince people that your project should get worked on. You can see this hurting morale as they are told they are "product managers" yet they are unable to control the timeline or functionality of their product.
